We at NFN Labs eat out at restaurants a lot, almost every day. We had been seeing a lot of people on our Facebook/Twitter feeds talking about how GST affects the bill amount.
In the updated version of the app - there are 2 things that you can input or edit:
1. The bill amount
2. The service charge (if applicable)
Service charge is a percentage added to the bill amount which ranges anywhere from 2% to 15% based on the type/class of the restaurant you decide to eat in.
Based on whether you are eating in a NON-AC or AC restaurant, both scenarios of GST applied are shown to you along with the Service charge added to the total bill amount.
Hope this app helps you to quickly check your total bill amounts.
